Rice Lake Weighing Syst is Hiring an Engineering Test Technician Near Rice, WI

We are seeking a talented Engineering Test Technician to join our team!
The primary responsibility of the ENGINEERING TEST TECHNICIAN is to assist our Electrical and Software Design Engineers with the testing and evaluation of custom application solutions involving custom hardware, software, and literature. They will be part of the “Specials Team” including:
- Discuss initial specifications from the customer with sales, programming and electrical design.
- Test and debug both software electrical issues to ensure they meet the specifications.
- Update BOMs, drawings, engineering specifications, and other engineering documentation as directed.
- Review and markup technical write-ups for the customer.
Other qualities necessary for this position:
- Excellent customer service skills including patience, phone skills, and the ability to explain technical examples.
- Networking and Ethernet experience
- Teamwork and Communication skills
- Technical Writing experience
- Good problem solving skills
- Able to work on daily assignments with general instructions and minimal supervision
Qualified applicants will have at least an Associate’s Degree in Electronics or related field and three (3) to five (5) years of experience working with either electronic circuit boards and/or software testing.
